Nick Jopling

Nick Jopling has been at the forefront of the UK Housing industry, in particular the Build to Rent sector as the Property Director (2010-2017) of FTSE 250 Grainger Plc, the UK’s largest quoted residential investment company. Previously Nick headed the residential business unit at CBRE (2003-2010).

Nick was asked by the coalition Government in 2012 to sit on the Montague Review that is widely accepted as the start point of BtR in the UK. In addition, he has was the Founding Chairperson of the ULI UK Residential Council (2010-2014) and the ULI European Residential Council (2016-2019).

Nick started his career farming in Yorkshire. He has a BSc degree in Agriculture from Newcastle University (1983) and was awarded an emeritus Fellowship of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (2014).
