Today, EQT releases the 2018 edition of the Annual Review – covering activities and performance over the past 18 months. The Annual Review also includes articles and interviews with Partners and Managers sharing their insights and analyses of current and future market trends.
Christian Sinding, CEO and Managing Partner of EQT, comments: “When assuming my new role earlier this year, I took over an EQT in full steam! Since January 2018, 48 investments and 13 exits were closed across the EQT platform and just after finishing the Annual Review, EQT announced two new exciting investments; Zayo, a leading provider of mission-critical bandwidth with a 208,000 km fiber network in North America and Europe, and Nestlé Skin Health, a global leader in medical and consumer skin health solutions. Both companies are great examples of EQT’s thematic investment approach and will benefit strongly from EQT’s long experience in developing companies in the TMT and Healthcare spaces.”
Christian continues: “When entering 2019, we did so with 600 colleagues from 40 different nationalities, spread over EQT’s offices around the world. Speaking as a member of the team who has almost been around since the start 25 years ago, I can say that EQT is better positioned than ever to execute on its vision of becoming the most reputable investor and owner. EQT's philosophy is to make a positive impact with everything we do. We have had 25 years of exceptional growth - and we are just getting started!”
2019 does not only mark the year of EQT’s 25-year anniversary, it also brings an opportunity to reflect on important milestones that have come to shape EQT to be the firm it is today. Read more about these events in the Annual Review articles “Reflections from the Founder and Chairman” (p. 10-11) and “EQT 25 years” (p. 16-21).
