Vagn Soerensen has been an Advisor to EQT since 1999.

Vagn spent 17 years with Scandinavian Airlines and became Deputy CEO before joining Austrian Airlines as President & CEO from 2001 to 2006. He also served as Chairman of the Association of European Airlines from 2004. He has been a professional non-executive board member in numerous companies such as Chairman at TDC Group, Scandic Hotels, British Midland Airways and Centerparcs UK, Vice-Chairman DFDS, Board member Lufthansa Cargo, Vienna Stock Exchange, JP/Politikens Hus and several others. He currently serves as Chairman of Air Canada, SSP Group and FLSmidth as well as Board member of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Vagn attended Aarhus Business School and holds a MSc degree in Economics and Business Administration.
