Therése Lennehag is Head of Sustainability at EQT and part of the EQT Extended Executive Management Team. Since joining EQT in 2009, she has worked closely with the investment organization across the globe on integrating responsible investment and ownership practices to capture the opportunities the sustainability agenda offers. She has also developed a framework to inspire and support the EQT funds’ portfolio companies on their sustainability journeys. Recent strategic initiatives Therése has led/advised on include EQT’s Statement of Purpose, elevated societal ambitions and launch of the largest ever ESG-linked Subscription Credit Facility in the global fund financing markets.
Therése is also engaged in the wider financial services industry’s adoption of the sustainability agenda and is a frequent contributor to best practice guidance as well as speaker at various industry events. She is currently Vice-Chair of the board of directors of Invest Europe, and Chair of EPER, the large global private equity platform of Invest Europe. She is also an affiliate member of Invest Europe’s Responsible Investment Roundtable, a roundtable she helped set up and was the inaugural chair of between 2013-2014.
Other experience, prior to joining EQT, includes investment banking at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley in London. Therése holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.
