Dr. Katrin Suder

Katrin Suder has been an Advisor to EQT since 2018.

Katrin worked for McKinsey & Company from 2000 to 2014. She was in charge of the Berlin office from 2007 and of the German Public Sector Practice from 2010. She focussed on transformational work especially around technology and IT. From 2014 until 2018, Katrin was State Secretary in the German Ministry of Defence responsible for Equipment, Information Technology/Cyber and In-Service Support as well as matters of the Planning Directorate. In August 2018, Katrin was appointed by chancellor Angela Merkel to chair the German digital council.

Katrin has earned a PhD in Physics from Ruhr University Bochum and a Bachelor in German literature and theatre.
