John K. Hepburn

John Hepburn received his BSE in Engineering from Princeton University in 1972, and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1974.

John is the former Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley and currently, a Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley . He is a Member of a number of the Investment Advisory Committees of EQT’s Funds.

Amongst some of his other activities, John is Chairman of Gelato A/S ; Chairman of Sportfact Ltd. (Guildford Flames); Chairman of the Lakeļ¬eld College School Foundation; Member of the Advisory Council of the Bendheim Centre for Finance (Princeton University);and a Member of the Board of Directors of Molnlycle AB.

During his time he has worked on numerous transactions ; the merger of Asea and Brown Boveri ; the restructuring of Investor AB, including the sale of Alfa Laval to Tetra Pak; the restructuring of AB Volvo ; the demutualization of Trygg Hansa; the buy-out of Saab-Scania; and the merger of Investor and Providentia; as well as the public offerings  of Scania , LM Ericsson, Pharmacia amongst others.
